It has been revealed that the mysterious Pokémon shown on the Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon packages is in fact Necrozma, after it has taken over the Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo or Lunala. These forms of Necrozma are called Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma.

This is more than just a simple repackage however, Ultra Sun brings with it a whole host of new features to keep fans of the series and newcomers entertained for hours.Included in the title is a brand-new minigame, called Mantine Surf. As players travel across the vibrant 3D world of Alola, they will stumble across many beaches. Once there they can hop aboard a passing Mantine and surf the waves, performing numerous tricks to level up and gain prizes.
The Festival Plaza was one of the Pokémon Sun’s biggest selling points, so fans will be pleased to see it’s returning once again. A new feature this time around is the Battle Agency. This works by allowing players to ‘rent’ a Pokémon with a new team. The Pokémon found in this section are a combination of those from gamers currently in the Festival Plaza and a ready-to-use supply from the Battle Agency itself.There’s also a new trial for fairy-type Pocket Monsters. Those familiar with the updated nature of the title’s predecessor in which the developers did away with gyms will be pleased to learn that Ultra Sun has introduced a brand-new Island Trial to tackle at the game’s climax. The trial requires players to travel around Alola once again and battle the Island Trial Captains in rematch bouts.
